The Joy Of Endings And Beginnings

Greetings from the Digital Collaboratives! There is something special about those beginnings and endings– For the first time we combined meetings for both the beginning of the 2019 collaboratives with the ending of our 2018 collaboratives. Each year we take on a challenge that feels big and audacious, and also a bit overwhelming. I always take solace in the fact that the Mantel Method never lets us down in getting to new and powerful insights. This last year we tackled emotional and social engagement, how to make engagement leaps with consumers, and the role of AI for brands for the Digital Consumer Collaborative and how to leverage digital to create and sustain behavior change for the Digital Healthcare Collaborative. There were some surprising overlaps in the learnings between the two collaboratives especially in the power of storytelling and mentors. As we spent our time reviewing the quantitative research and mastering the theory, it was great to see how each member had grown in their thought leadership and in their plans for their company. The Rocky steps were the perfect ending place for our journey and a reminder of the difference we can make together as we begin to tackle our next challenge with new friends.
